The use of Facebook has become indispensable in every person’s cyber life. Daily we make kilos of conversations and mostly we prefer emoticons to enhance it.
Apart from smileys Facebook gave us many weird and bizarre emoticons such as Like button smiley which you can add it in your chat.
In the past days only chat box can use this above mentioned emoticons and not status updates or comments. To express our feeling we made some special combinations. 
For eg., Something like “<3” to insert a heart symbol. On last Friday, Facebook made its silent update. By this, hereafter, we can be able to use emoticons in leaving comments for status.
Insert Emoticons in your Facebook Comment-Box
1. Inserting “LIKE” Button :
Type “(y)” to show your Like button in comment box.
2. Inserting “Robot” emoticon :
Type “: |]” to show “The Robot” emoticon in FB comment box.
2. Inserting “Shark” emoticon :
Type “(^^^)” to show Shark emoticon in FB comment box.
Obviously this new update is made available only if you use FB through browser. ie., limiting its use in smartphone mobile applications such as iOS, Android and so on. Despite that, if we put the combination of a smiley character in Laptop browsers we can see the corresponding smiley. Soon Facebook will allow to use emoticons in status updates too.
